We move at the speed of trust

We can only move at the speed of trust and… trust is broken

We studied uncertainty during the most uncertain time in our history and one thing that is clear is that trust is broken.

If you do not trust you will be supported, you may not try.

If you do not trust you will be listened to, you will not speak.

If you do not trust your ideas will be valued, you will not share.

If you do not trust you will be caught, you will not leap.

If you do not trust you will be protected, you will not risk.

If you do not trust in leadership, you will not follow.

For businesses to move forward, improve, adapt or innovate, it requires ideas to be shared, suggestions to be made and open collaboration to occur. This requires risk and vulnerability and that… requires trust.

Trust we are safe. Safe to share untested ideas. Safe to try things we are not yet competent in without fear of blame, ridicule or punishment.

Trust requires consistency over time when the individual learns to trust they are safe within this space.

Best way to get trust, is to give it.
