The research
We studied uncertainty during the most uncertain time in our history.
Launched on the 2nd anniversary of when the WHO declared it a global pandemic, Chaos2Clarity is a large-scale quantitative research study on the impact of the uncertainty of the pandemic, including over 100 variables and, for the first time ever, combined scientifically validated scales and measurements including:
- Schwartz Values Model
- Cantril Ladder Life Satisfaction Scale
- VanderWeele, Flourishing Measure
- Brief Resilient Coping Scale (BRCS)
- Kashdan (5DCR) Curiosity Scale
Combined with our own unique set of questions, we now understand the intersection of these key factors such as:
- How our Values influence our Behaviour
- How our Curiosity impacts our Resilience
- How our ability to Thrive doesn’t necessarily help us handle difficult situations
If we are able to understand how we reacted and responded during the MOST uncertain time in our history, then we can predict how we will respond to change at work.
Chaos2Clarity was conducted with a nationally representative sample of 2,008 adult Canadians from March 11 – April 8, 2022. Results from the research are statistically reliable within + or – 2.19 percentage points, 19 times out of 20 (95% confidence level).

“You will be more likely to be remembered
for your response when you
offered a Creative Solution
in an UnCertain situation rather than
how rigidly you stuck to the Script.”
