Curious about Burnout…?

Curious about burnout…? That is a good thing.

As a leader what can you do when that “Can-Do attitude” got up and went? What do you do when you are left with burnout, apathy and meh…?

When dealing with employee burnout it is important to recognize that while it is pervasive it is personal – each person may be experiencing it differently and for different reasons and therefore… may require different solutions.

It is important to:
– Stay curious and try to refrain from making assumptions
– Ask questions and listen to the answers
– Show compassion to yourself and others

In my latest article in Forbes I explore the concept of compassionate curiosity after speaking with an Executive Director of a not-for-profit who was experiencing more challenging HR issues “post-covid”.
