2nd Best Time for Change
The best time to plant a tree? 20 years ago.
The 2nd best time? NOW.
I’m starting my blog NOW.
Since we can’t go back in time, NOW is the best time.
NOW is the best time to start something new
NOW is the best time to raise your hand, to volunteer or contribute
NOW is the best time to launch, to improve or innovate
NOW is the best time to make a change
I had planned on starting a blog sooner. It is easy to be swayed by the voices in your head that say “Really…? Now…? With all this going on in the world you want to start a blog now…?” and the answer is, “NOW is the best time” and shouldn’t we all start at the best time…?
What are you waiting for…?
The perfect conditions…? – market conditions, weather conditions, health conditions…?
If you were waiting for permission – consider it granted. NOW is the best time.
When is the best time to start a diet? NOW
When is the best time to write a book? NOW
When is the best time to make a change? NOW.
I know what you’re thinking, it is an odd time right now in history, in our lifetimes – it truly is an unprecedented time. We are experiencing a global pandemic and much needed social unrest – at the same time!
There is a lot of uncertainty about how things will change and what it will all look like as we start to emerge on the other side.
You have a chance to be part of that – you have the opportunity to help shape the future. We know that the plans, or scripts, of the past will no longer work in a post-COVID world so… why not be part of writing the new script…? Now.
And if you are after social change…?
“The time is always right to do what is right”
– Martin Luther King Jr.
The time is NOW.
Congratulations on starting. The journey of a 1000 miles begins with the first step. The Great Pause has encouraged me to be more consistent with my blog, so kudos to you for starting….and continuing on.
Oh, I planted a tree this spring, a pear tree in celebration of a newborn grandson. We have a lot of memory trees on our yard, it’s a great thing to plant and tree and then enjoy the changing scenery as we all grow.
